In March of 2023, we noticed that the heating system at St. Louis Church, Rectory and Office was not working properly. We were experiencing heat loss and excessive water usage. We contacted an experienced technician too troubleshoot our lack of heat. Findings determined that the original 1950 underground heating pipes were leaking hot water into the ground. The rectory and office remained open, and masses continued to be celebrated at St. Louis Church, however the facility was wthout heat as the heating system was not operating.
It is necessary to have the pipes replaced before the start of the winter heating season. The cost to replace the heating pipes is estimated at $43,000.00.
Catholic Order of Forester, St. Louis Court #230 has agreed to sponsor a raffle to help with our project expenses. C.O.F.'s matching find is $1,500.00.
We have also recieved $500.00 projected sponsorships from Frank Martin & Sons Inc. and D. Plourde Logging Inc.
