Dear Friends in Christ,

Greeting of love, peace and joy of Christ to you from Father Alex, As Director of the Christian Life Center (CLC) with the consent of Pastors of the Parishes in Vicariate #1, I am writing to invite you to participate in our 50th Anniversary Capital Campaign. For 50 years the CLC has faithfully offered programs in Spiritual Enrichment, Faith Formation, Community Building, Outreach Services, and Indirect Services to the parishes in the County.

The CLC receives its operating funds through a subsidy from the Annual Catholic Appeal, subsidies from the parishes of the county, program fees, and from individual donors. In the past, fund for capital improvements primarily came from individual donations and fundraising projects organized and conducted by volunteers. With these capital improvement funds, and a few insurance claims, we have been able to put on a new roof, renovate the chapel, repair water damage and make improvements to the dining room at a cost of $48,800.00.

The repairs have forced us to postpone a few important capital improvements. The Board of Directors and I are conducting this capital campaign to address the following:

• Bring bathrooms up to electrical and plumbing code.
• Install new shower stalls and install new toilet stalls.
• Improve ventilation in bathrooms.
• Install new flooring.
• And make room adjustments for better use of space.

We hope that with your participation in our capital campaign goal for one hundred thousand dollars ($100,00.00) it will help us get some of these projects completed. We will prioritize the projects according to the funds that we are able to raise, and all the funds will be spent at the CLC for its projects.
